Shipping Policy
We offer standard shipping rates within New Zealand.
No Printed Invoice Included
To conserve paper, we do not include a printed invoice with deliveries. Invoices and other correspondence are sent by email to the purchaser.
Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. We do not process orders on weekends or public holidays. If there is a delay due to high order volume or other reasons, we will contact you.
Orders placed after midday on Fridays, during weekends, or on public holidays will be dispatched on the next business day.
If your order is urgent, please contact us and we will assist you.
Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
Essentially Tamara delivers across New Zealand via courier. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number once your order ships. Tracking will be active within 24 hours.
Delivery Address
Orders are sent to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure this address is correct and includes a physical location, as we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Some addresses may have delivery restrictions beyond our control; in such cases, we will contact you to find a solution.
Once your order is dispatched, the shipping address cannot be changed. However, the courier may be able to redirect your package. We will provide details to help you contact the courier directly.
Adding to an Existing Order
If you want to add items to an existing order, contact us immediately by email or phone with your order number. We cannot add items if the order has already been dispatched. Additional products will need to be paid for by direct bank transfer to avoid extra shipping charges and will be added once payment clears.
Delivery Timeframes
Please note that weekends, public holidays, bad weather, or infrastructure issues may cause delays to delivery times.
If we expect a significant delay, we will inform you.
Deliveries to rural or remote areas can take up to four days longer because they are often handled by a third party.
Rural Deliveries
Please select rural delivery at checkout. If standard delivery is selected for a rural address, we may contact you to pay the extra rural delivery fee before dispatch.
